The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) opens registrations for the Meeting with Teachers this Wednesday, June 5th. Registration can be made until June 19th (until 17 pm), exclusively on the Comvest website: www.comvest.unicamp.br. The event will be held on August 17th, from 9 am to 17 pm, on the Unicamp campus, in Campinas. During the Meeting, teachers will participate in workshops on the different Unicamp Entrance Exam tests. One of the new features this year is that in addition to primary and secondary school teachers, undergraduate and postgraduate students will also be able to register.
550 places will be offered, with 90 places for the Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literatures, 40 places for English and 70 places for each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, History and Geography. Teachers and coordinators from high school and elementary school II, from public and private schools and prep courses, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students, can register. With the exception of the English subject, which will only be held in the morning, the others will take place until 17 pm.
Registration fees vary according to the category: for teachers and coordinators of the private network or courses, registration is 60 reais; for teachers and coordinators of public schools or popular courses, the fee is 30 reais. Undergraduate and postgraduate students pay 30 reais. For those interested in the English subject, the registration fee is 30 reais for private school teachers and 15 reais for public school teachers. The first 50 teachers/coordinators registered in the popular course category will be exempt from the registration fee.
To have their registration confirmed, interested parties must attach, when registering online, documents proving their status as a teacher, coordinator or student.
The Meeting is an opportunity for teachers to learn about and understand the Unicamp tests, being able to better prepare their students for the entrance exam. During the event, the objectives of the tests will be discussed, the correction process will be discussed, with an analysis of the questions from the last entrance exam, pointing out what was expected of the candidates.
