Unicamp expands vacancies and offers new courses in the Indigenous Entrance Exam

Unicamp will expand the places offered by the Indigenous Entrance Exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. For the Unicamp 2020 Indigenous Entrance Exam, vacancies increased from 72 to 96. There was also the inclusion of seven new courses in this modality, listed below. This is the second edition of the modality promoted by the Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest). Registration is free and begins on September 2nd, at www.comvest.unicamp.br. The Notice with the rules was made available today by Comvest, on its website, as well as the complete process calendar. Registration can be done exclusively online, until September 30th.

To have their enrollment accepted, if approved in the entrance exam, candidates must prove that they belong to one of the indigenous ethnicities of Brazilian territory, through the documentation specified in the Notice. Another prerequisite is that candidates have completed secondary education entirely in the public network (municipal, state, federal), or in indigenous schools recognized by the public education network or have obtained secondary education certification by ENEM or official exams (e.g. example, Enceja) and have not attended any period of high school in the private network.

Updates

The new courses included in the Unicamp 2020 Indigenous Entrance Exam are: Biological Sciences (full-time and evening), Physical Education (full-time and evening), Food Engineering (full-time and evening), Telecommunications Engineering (full-time), Transport Engineering (night-time), Information Systems (full-time) and Technology in Systems Analysis and Development (evening).

In this edition of the entrance exam, Comvest is extending the application of the test to another city. The exam will be held on December 1st, in the following cities: Bauru (SP), Campinas (SP), Caruaru (PE), Dourados (MS), São Gabriel da Cachoeira (AM) and Tabatinga (AM). The test will be in Portuguese, composed of multiple choice questions and an essay, as follows: Languages ​​and codes (14 questions); Natural Sciences (12 questions); Mathematics (12 questions); Human Sciences (12 questions); and an essay. The study program for the test is now available on the Comvest website.
