The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) closes next Friday, September 6th, registrations for the Unicamp Entrance Exam 2020. Registration must be made until 23:59 pm on 6/9, exclusively online, using a form available on the Comvest website: www.comvest.unicamp.br. The Unicamp 2020 Entrance Exam offers 2.570 places distributed across 69 courses. The registration fee is 170,00 reais and can be paid until September 9th. From this year onwards, at the time of registration, the courses chosen must be from the same area of knowledge: Humanities/Arts; Biological/health; Exact/Technological. This choice will define the second stage test that candidates will take, if approved in the first stage. This is because, from this year onwards, the second phase tests will no longer be the same for all candidates, but will now be related to the area of knowledge of the chosen courses. It is possible to take up to two course options, as long as they are in the same area. With the change, the second phase of the Unicamp Entrance Exam will be reduced from three to two days.
The first phase will be carried out on the day 17 November and the second phase will take place on the days January 12th and 13th, 2020. Before the first phase, there will be Specific Skills tests for candidates for Music courses (in September and October). For the other courses that require this exam (Architecture and Urban Planning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance), the Specific Skills tests will take place between January 20th and 24th, 2020.
How is it
A first phase It consists of a single test, with 90 multiple-choice General Knowledge questions. A second phase It is composed of essay tests. On the first day, there are tests common to all candidates: Writing (consisting of two text proposals for the candidate to perform only one); Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literatures, with eight questions; two interdisciplinary questions in English. On the second day, in addition to the tests common to all candidates (Mathematics with six questions; interdisciplinary Human Sciences with two questions; interdisciplinary Natural Sciences with two questions) there are specific tests, depending on the course option:
– candidates from the area of Biological Sciences/Health: six questions from Biology and six questions from Chemistry;
– candidates from the area of Exact/Technological Sciences: six questions from Physics and six questions from Chemistry;
– candidates from the area of Human Sciences/Arts: six questions from Geography and six questions from History, covering content from Philosophy and Sociology.

Comvest announced two new cities in the State of São Paulo that will host the entrance exams: Lorena and Santa Bárbara D´ Oeste.
In this way, in the State of São Paulo, Unicamp starts to apply its Entrance Examination tests in 30 cities: Araçatuba, Bauru, Botucatu, Bragança Paulista, Campinas, Franca, Guarulhos, Indaiatuba, Jundiaí, Limeira, Lorena, Marília, Mogi das Cruzes, Mogi Guaçu, Osasco, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, Santo André, Santos, São Bernardo do Campo, São Carlos, São João da Boa Vista, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Sorocaba, Sumaré and Valinhos.
Outside the State of São Paulo, they receive the Unicamp Vestibular exams five capitals: Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza and Salvador.
Another novelty announced by Comvest is that candidates with a disability they may be met with adapted tests or other needs, in any city where the entrance exam is administered, in accordance with the rules of the Notice. Previously, this service was only available in the cities of Campinas, Ribeirão Preto and São Paulo.
Inclusion
The ethnic-racial quotas at the Unicamp Entrance Exam. will be reserved 15% minimum, of vacancies in each course and shift for self-declared black and brown candidates. In addition to the entrance exam, there will also be quotas for admission via Enem (10%), whose notice will be published by Unicamp soon, on the Comvest page.
Still within the scope of social inclusion, the bonus offered to candidates who completed public education also continues to be valid. Thus, students who choose to participate in the Affirmative Action and Social Inclusion Program (PAAIS) will automatically receive, in the first and second phase, the following scores: 20 points for those who completed elementary school II in public schools; 40 points for those who completed high school in public schools; 60 points for those who attended both periods in the public network.
2020 Entrance Manual and Entrance Examination application
Comvest offers a free application for cell phones, from which students can receive alerts about important entrance exam dates, in addition to having quick access to the most relevant information. The application can be downloaded for free.
O 2020 Ticket Manual is now available for consultation on the Comvest website. It provides all the necessary information and guidance for students regarding the registration process, exams and other stages of the entrance exam.
