It has been decided that the headquarters of Fazenda Argentina will house Unicamp's Innovation Agency, Inova. This will be the first step towards the installation of the International Hub for Sustainable Development (HIDS) in Campinas, a proposed district where everything is planned and a living laboratory for the cities of the future. HIDS will encompass the area which houses the Fazenda Argentina, added to the space of Polo II of Ciatec and Puc-Campinas, project partners, and will have a reach of 11,5 million square meters.

The HIDS proposal, as well as other existing models in Brazil, were presented at the Permanent Forum held on the 16th, at Unicamp, organized by the Center for Environmental Studies and Research (Nepam) and the Executive Directorate for Integrated Planning (Depi).
