The production of knowledge in the field of public security can improve police practices and change a reality that comes to light when crimes such as the murder of 8-year-old Ágatha Vitória Sales Félix shock the country. But only a small portion of public security agents have the opportunity to access courses in the area, such as those already offered by the National Network of Advanced Studies in Public Security (Renaesp).
