Gone are the days when it was common to enter any Brazilian's home and find a tube television, often even with a piece of steel wool attached to the antenna to “improve” signal reception. This is because television signal transmission went from analog to digital, which allows for high screen definition – HD (High Definition), in addition to other improvements in audio, transcriptions and interactivity with the viewer.
