The Vision Access Network is being implemented by the HC Ophthalmology Service, an initiative that covers all services provided in the nine health institutions managed by the university. For the patient, the proposal is to expand and speed up access to all ophthalmological procedures. For medical students, the gain is in the diversity of patient profiles and regions served, which should add greater professional experience. In terms of management, improvements in the service flow must occur without increasing financial resources.
