The explosion in the consumption of processed, ultra-processed and even artificial foods, the responsibilities of public authorities in regulating the food industry, incentives or prohibitions, and also actions to deal with obesity in the country and the environmental impacts of food systems. All of this was discussed at the Permanent Forum "Healthy and Sustainable Food Systems: are they possible?", held on October 31st at the Unicamp Convention Center. Our reporting team was there and spoke to some of the speakers, including the former director general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), José Graziano da Silva.
