O 2nd Unicamp Ventures Meetup, organized by the group of former Unicamp entrepreneurs with the Innovation Agency, takes place on December 19th (Thursday), in the Vértice building of the Unicamp Scientific and Technological Park, located on the Campinas campus.
“The event, which has a relaxed approach, is one of the group's strategies to connect Unicamp's daughter companies, as well as being an opportunity for the university's current students to have contact with this entrepreneurial environment. During the event we will have the presentation of success stories from daughter companies, as a form of inspiration and debate”, explains José Augusto Moura, executive president of the Unicamp Ventures group.
Moura also clarifies that each event will explore a different area of activity, demonstrating the diversity of Unicamp's daughter companies. “In the first edition, the success story of Lamas, a craft beer company, was presented, while for this second edition the debate will be on the Telecommunications, Internet and Defense and Public Security Systems markets with the company Neger Telecom”.
The person who will present the success story in this second edition will be Eduardo Neger, engineering director and co-founder of the company, who was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in the first edition of the Unicamp Entrepreneur Award, in 2017.
