The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is publishing the balance of registrations in the Enem-Unicamp 2020 selection process. The modality uses only the grades obtained by candidates in Enem, for admission to Unicamp's undergraduate courses, and has the highest part of the vacancies directed to public school students. in total, 17.367 students signed up this year for the modality, distributed across the three registration categories: students who completed their entire high school education in the public network (11.887 Subscribers); self-declared black and brown students (2.150 Subscribers); and students from public schools who are also self-declared black, brown or indigenous (3.330 Subscribers). The number is practically the same as the previous year, the first time Unicamp offered the modality and when 17.977 students signed up. Among the most sought after courses are: Medicine (Full), Architecture and Urbanism (Evening), Social Communication - Medialogy (Full), Biological Sciences (Full), Computer Science (Evening), Nursing (Full), Economic Sciences (Evening), History (Full) , Pharmacy (Integral) and Dentistry (Integral).
are offered 639 vacancies through the Enem-Unicamp 2020 process and candidates were able to make up to two course options. Students compete with Enem 2019 and 2018 grades. Registration took place between October/November and the Notice with the rules of the process is available on the Comvest website.
Just like in the Unicamp Entrance Exam, to be entitled to quotas based on ethnic-racial criteria, students who self-declare as black or brown must have phenotypic traits that characterize them as black, black or brown. If approved, they must sign and submit a declaration at the time of registration, according to the Notice. Those opting for indigenous vacancies must also present the declaration.
Candidates who have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate course at a public institution (federal, state or municipal) cannot compete in this modality.
Competition
The Enem tests are the responsibility of the National Institute of Education and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP), linked to the Ministry of Education. For selection in this modality, the Unicamp will consider candidates' grades in the Writing, Mathematics, Languages and Codes, Natural Sciences and Human Sciences tests reported by INEP.
Convocation
There will even be five calls for registration, following the same calendar enrollment for the Unicamp 2020 Entrance Exam. Enrollment will be carried out in two stages: the first three virtual (on the Comvest page) and from the fourth call onwards, in person, at the course's main unit. The first call is scheduled for the day February 10 and will be published in www.comvest.unicamp.br.
