Unicamp identified this Thursday (23) violations in some of its computer systems, with a consequent leak of private data. The problem was detected by the Academic Board (DAC), but may have affected other University systems. The incident has already been reported to the competent authorities.
Unicamp's General Coordination of Information and Communication Technology (CITIC) appointed a team to identify the causes of the incident and the extent of the damage. Contingency measures are already being taken and no action on the part of users is necessary for now.
Unicamp will keep the community informed about progress in investigations and damage containment work. Users will be notified if any individual action is necessary.
