Incubatees can also train in other partnerships and programs that Inova Unicamp develops during the incubation process and receive support in matters of intellectual property and technology transfer, as is the case with spin companies -of.
The incubation of companies with these capabilities is important in the entrepreneurial environment because, according to a 2013 study by National Sebrae, 24,4% of startups close after less than two years of existence, and in less than four years this percentage can reach 50% survival.

Incubation modalities
According to the degree of maturity of the projects and businesses submitted, the evaluation panel will define whether the approved proposals fit into Incamp's pre-incubation or incubation program. This division is beneficial for the incubated person because it offers what is necessary for the current stage of the business.
The pre-incubation program lasts a maximum of six months with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs with embryonic projects that require technical and market evaluation to transform their technology-based business ideas into a new company. In other words, pre-incubation is a phase dedicated to entrepreneurs who require initial training, especially in business management.
The incubation program lasts a maximum of 36 months with the aim of helping startups develop more broadly, such as training in sales, marketing and management.
In both aspects of the programs, there is also the modality of companies residing in the Incamp building, which can use the co-working and office spaces, and non-resident companies, with a difference in the monthly fee in each modality. When registering, companies must indicate whether or not they wish to set up in the incubator building.
