Unicamp's Innovation Agency opens a call for cases from startups that have or are adapting or developing solutions that can mitigate problems related to the coronavirus pandemic, which causes Covid-19.
According to the executive director of Inova Unicamp, professor Newton Frateschi, the purpose is to learn about the solutions of these startups, especially Unicamp's daughter companies founded by former students of the University, so that they can be publicized and, thus, connected to entities or people who are facing the problems. “Innovation is essential for us to continue evolving as a society, especially in times of crisis like the one we are facing with this pandemic. Therefore, it is important that we highlight good innovative initiatives and also make an effort to connect actors who are facing problems with those who are developing solutions.”, he explains.
The cases will be analyzed to assess their applicability and published on the official website of the Unicamp Innovation Agency. Potential partners or actors will also be prospected so that the solutions can be leveraged for market absorption.
