Unicamp has a computational platform for research and innovation on coronavirus

authorship

Unicamp has a computational platform to encourage joint actions related to the coronavirus. The intention is to serve as an environment for integrating efforts and seeking partnerships between different researchers and laboratories, both internal and external.

Recently, Unicamp started the task force against Covid-19, with professors from the Biology Institute, aiming to structure the university and its community for the most critical moments of this pandemic. The evolution of solutions, however, led to the opening of several fronts in all areas of knowledge. Faced with this scenario, there is an expansion of this initiative that can contribute to demands, ideas and the supply of expertise, facilities and materials.

Therefore, these efforts are joined by the technological task force, created by several professors in the area. The platform was implemented by Sidney Pio de Campos (FEQ), Rodolfo Jardim de Azevedo and William Lima Reiznautt (IC), and supported by Profa. Marisa Beppu (FEQ) and Prof. Anderson Rocha (IC).
