"We don't know what will come", says rector Marcelo Knobel at a meeting of the University Council

In the final section of the Unicamp University Council meeting, held on March 31, rector Marcelo Knobel spoke about how Unicamp is going through the economic crisis. #coronavirus and defended maintaining the focus on priority actions and social isolation. For Knobel, there needs to be an effort from everyone at the university so that the wheels don't stop working, even remotely. The dean highlighted that canceling the semester would have very bad implications. "It is in these moments of crisis that we must continue to do what we believe in, teaching classes, teaching our students, working to enlighten the population."
