O Unicamp Ventures (UV), a group made up of entrepreneurial alumni of the University, and the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency have an open call until July 23rd to promote success stories of daughter companies in the healthcare sector.
Unicamp alumni who have interesting cases, journalistic articles and/or audiovisual products in relation to their companies' innovations in the health sector can fill out the case call form to have their content reflected on the UV and Inova Unicamp networks.
According to the executive director of Inova Unicamp and president of the UV board, professor Newton Frateschi, the call is a way for the community of daughter companies to better understand the activities of their own ecosystem, thus enabling the exchange of experiences and the establishment of a process of mutual strengthening. Also, it is a way of involving the University community, encouraging more interactions with daughter companies and the emergence of more entrepreneurs, particularly in the chosen thematic areas of the calls.
“In our annual mapping of daughter companies, we identified that the health and well-being area is the fourth largest area in which our alumni undertake business. In total, we have 53 daughter companies that work directly with healthcare. In this call, we want to better expose which innovative services and products they are offering.”, explains Frateschi about the call for cases.
The intention is to get to know these daughter companies to invite them to the Unicamp Ventures group's webinar dedicated to “Innovations in Health” or to share the materials published on Inova's social networks and UV's official website.
Frateschi also adds that this activity is part of the Unicamp Ventures group's mission to connect Unicamp's daughter companies in order to enhance their ventures, the first step being to better understand the focus of each one.
Would you, a former Unicamp student and healthcare entrepreneur, like to be part of these thematic initiatives prepared by UV?
