The 18th DPCT-IG Bulletin provides an analysis of Brazilian scientific and academic diversity, highlighting the multiple areas of knowledge that face the search for understanding and solving the problems caused directly and indirectly by Covid-19. From the analysis of around 7 thousand Lattes CVs, we can see the intensification of the diversity of profiles of authors who published scientific articles on Covid-19, as well as the knowledge produced on the topic.
With the reflection on the roles of science that comprise the effects of Covid-19, the need to include more robust qualifications of the contents quantified in this Bulletin in curricula is identified, which will allow for advancement in the understanding of scientific practice regarding the contributions of the various areas of knowledge about the disease.
