The Unicamp Innovation Agency (Inova Unicamp) opens a call for free registration of new daughter companies of the University. To participate, you must be a Unicamp alumni and be the founder or owner of a company. The form can be accessed online this way. Currently, there are more than 700 active businesses – out of a total of 815 already registered – which, through daughter company registration, access unique networking and new business opportunities and can sign up to participate in the Award Entrepreneur of the Year, one of the initiatives that highlights Unicamp’s network of daughter companies.
For Professor Newton Frateschi, executive director of Inova Unicamp, registering as a daughter company of Unicamp facilitates not only contact between the daughter companies themselves, but also with the University. “When companies and universities act synergistically, they enable solutions with the potential to impact the entire society through new processes and disruptive technologies”, says the director.
Benefits of being part
From the moment a business becomes part of Unicamp's list of daughter companies, networking with other members, institutes and partners is facilitated. Exclusive participation in events, such as the Unicamp Ventures Meeting, are also part of these advantages. Furthermore, there is a gain in exposure of the company's solutions to the market, making it possible to close new partnerships and businesses.
FOR find out more and get to know some successful cases that are part of the group, Inova provides a online channel dedicated to daughter companies. Currently, the base has representatives from different categories, including IT, education, food, health, consultancy and engineering.
