We deeply regret the murder of João Alberto Silveira Freitas that took place last night (19/11), the eve of Black Awareness Day. To João Alberto's family, our solidarity at this difficult time.

This is yet another vile, inhumane and criminal act that fills us with indignation. Unicamp reaffirms its unconditional support in the fight against racism! 

Society can no longer watch in silence episodes of racist violence that attack humanity.
