This past Friday, December 11th, seven companies that are participating in the incubation or pre-incubation programs of Unicamp Technology-Based Business Incubator (Incamp) and a startup located in the Scientific and Technological Park had the opportunity to present their pitches, a brief presentation about the company's solution, to representatives of investment groups: UniAngels (angel investment network formed by Unicamp alumni), Anjos do Brasil, BR Angels and Fundo Pitanga.
The opportunity known as Meeting with Investors is part of the activities proposed by the Incubator. This year, the event took place online and was attended by 91 people from Unicamp's innovation ecosystem, such as students, entrepreneurs and investors who interacted during the activity.
The high virtual participation throughout the year was celebrated by the manager of the Scientific and Technological Park at Unicamp and Incamp, Mariana Zanatta Inglez. She commented that instead of the online format having limited training and mentoring to entrepreneurs and incubated companies, the incubator noticed a contrary movement, even having a number of players from outside the Unicamp ecosystem, both from Campinas and international partners who came from the program Global Partners promoted by Unicamp Innovation Agency (Inova), managing body of the Park and Incamp.
