A Handbook for Safe Living brings together important content so that staff and students know details about the stages of resumption, precautions that have been adopted and guidance on how to proceed in each phase, in addition to the communication channels available to answer questions.
What content can I find in the booklet?
The Booklet organizes important information that explains the precautions that everyone, staff, teachers and students, should take throughout the partial and gradual resumption process. It provides guidance on the use of common spaces on campuses, necessary hygiene and social distancing practices, how some routines and procedures should be adapted, among other content. In addition to useful recommendations for everyone on campuses, such as rules of conduct in common spaces at the university, the booklet provides guidance on recommended procedures for serving the public, receiving and delivering materials, disposing of common waste and personal protective equipment. In addition to mandatory rules for socializing in common spaces on campuses, you can check recommendations for the use of classrooms and laboratories. It even has a special calculator which indicates the maximum number of students that can be in a classroom according to the dimensions of the space. Another important section for students contains guidelines for safe living in student housing, with tips on how to maintain safety in common areas and care for purchases, deliveries and movement of residents arriving from the street.

They are. As it is a unit with a very varied audience, the analysis of how the return of DeDIC activities will occur is being carried out very carefully. At the moment, the forecast is that the partial and gradual return will begin in the third period of the plan, on November 16th. However, the plan may undergo changes depending on the evolution of the pandemic and also according to the demands that are identified within Unicamp itself. I think I have some symptom of Covid-19. Can the booklet help me?
For sure. There you have access to information about the main symptoms of Covid-19 and the coronavirus, the necessary care to prevent yourself and avoid transmission to other people and also how the services provided by Cecom work. Look for Cecom as soon as you experience any of the main symptoms, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell. There, you will undergo a risk assessment, medical consultation and testing. Depending on the assessment carried out, you will be sent to stay at home or to be treated in emergency units. Cecom also maintains remote monitoring of cases, by telephone, to find out how the patients' health is progressing.
