The pandemic is at its most critical moment, with hospitals and ICUs operating at maximum capacity and the tightening of measures to control the spread of the virus. In addition to the strong pressure on our city's healthcare system, there is a significant impact on the lives of people who have had a drop in income or lost their jobs. As a result, several families have faced great difficulty in purchasing food and cleaning products.
In March 2020, Unicamp created the UNICAMP SOLIDÁRIA CESTAS BÁSICAS campaign to raise funds and, with them, buy basic food baskets that can be delivered to this population going through this difficult time.
In Campinas, the Campaign has a partnership with the Campinas Food Bank and, in Limeira, it has the support of the Limeira Social Fund and Ceprosom – Municipal Social Promotion Center, linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance.
The University has a fundamental role in controlling and finding solutions to the pandemic, one of which is engaging its community to help families who need it most. Everyone can make a difference, even without leaving home.

There is no minimum amount and donations can be made by transfer, credit card or bank slip!
