Unicamp updates resolution that restricts access to campuses in the emergency phase against Covid-19

GR Resolution no. 24/2021, from 31/03/2021

Amends Resolution GR no. 20/2021 of 18/03/2021, which instituted additional, emergency and temporary measures with the aim of minimizing the transmission and spread of COVID-19 on the campuses of the State University of Campinas.

  • Considering the recommendations of the COVID-19 Monitoring Committee at Unicamp, established by Ordinance GR nº. 72/2020;
  • Considering DECREE No. 65.563, of March 11, 2021, which institutes emergency measures, of a temporary and exceptional nature, aimed at combating the COVID-19 pandemic, and provides related measures;
  • DECREE no. 21.382 of March 12, 2021, which provides for the Emergency Phase of the São Paulo Plan in the Municipality of Campinas, which establishes a quarantine regime in the Municipality of Campinas;
  • Considering the need to contain the spread of COVID-19, avoid collapse and ensure the adequate functioning of health services and preserve public health.

The Rector of the State University of Campinas, in the exercise of his powers, RESOLVES:

Article 1. Amend the sole paragraph of Article 1. of Resolution GR no. 20/2021, coming into force with the following wording:

Sole paragraph - The emergency measures referred to in the "caput" of this article will be observed on all campuses of the State University of Campinas, for an indefinite period.

Article 2 - This Resolution will come into force on the date of its publication, revoking any provisions to the contrary.

GR Resolution no. 25/2021, from 05/04/2021

Amends Resolution GR no. 20/2021 of 18/03/2021, which instituted additional, emergency and temporary measures with the aim of minimizing the transmission and spread of COVID-19 on the campuses of the State University of Campinas.

The Rector of the State University of Campinas, in the exercise of his powers, RESOLVES:

Article 1. The item V of art. 2nd of GR Resolution no. 20/2021, which comes into force with the following wording:

V - Keep works in progress, reiterating sanitary measures with companies, with the start of new works being suspended. In exceptional, pressing and justified situations, works may be started after prior authorization from the Monitoring Committee, established by the GR Ordinance no. 072/2020, of 10/08/2020.

Article 2 - This Resolution will come into force on the date of its publication, revoking any provisions to the contrary.
