The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is announcing that it will maintain the list of works in Portuguese, the reading of which is mandatory for candidates for the Unicamp Entrance Exam. In this way, the same 10 works announced for candidates for the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam will be valid for the Unicamp Entrance Exam 2023. Comvest publishes in advance, each year, the works that make up the list of readings required for the Entrance Exam, in order to allow teachers and students to plan. For the 2023 admission edition, Unicamp considered that it would be prudent to maintain the works, considering the impacts of the pandemic on education and the need for students and teachers to adapt in a context of recovery.

The 10 works on the list were chosen based on criteria such as the representativeness of these literary manifestations in the cultural traditions of the Portuguese language, the standard of aesthetic elaboration and the presence of thematic centers suitable for the student's pedagogical training in high school. The list of works for the Unicamp 2022 and Unicamp 2023 Entrance Exams presents six literary genres (Poetry, Short Story, Theater, Novel, Chronicle and Letter/Travel Report) and ten authors (Camões, Racionais MCs, Olavo Bilac, Ligia F. Telles, F. Pessoa, Paulina Chiziane, Júlia Lopes de Almeida, Machado de Assis and Pero Vaz de Caminha) indicated below and on the page www.comvest.unicamp.br.
