The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is extending registration for the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam by a few more days. Registration, which would close this Wednesday, has been extended until September 14th (at 17 pm) and must be done exclusively online, using a form available on the Comvest website: www.comvest.unicamp.br. Payment of the fee can be made until September 15th. Candidates who had already completed the form, but had not yet paid the invoice, will also be able to pay until 15/9. The registration fee is 180,00 reais. The 2022 Entry Manual is available for consultation on the Comvest website, with information on the registration process, tests and other steps.
The Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam offers 2.540 places distributed across 69 courses. It is possible to take up to two course options, as long as they are in the same area. 8.327 students benefited from exemption from registration fee, which will be valid for both the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam and the Enem-Unicamp 2022 modality. Successful candidates must access a specific form at the time of registration and use the exemption code. The number of places offered by the entrance exam returned to 2.540, as the 639 Enem-Unicamp places, which had been incorporated into the process in the last edition, will be offered again this year by the modality, with registrations starting on November 3rd.
Comvest decided to extend registrations by a few more days due to having registered a lower than expected number of registrations in all segments (broad competition, public schools and ethnic-racial quotas). According to the director of the Commission, José Alves de Freitas Neto, as admission only occurs once a year, Comvest decided to offer a new opportunity for students who want to enter Unicamp, but had not yet registered.
“We were aware of the demobilization of many students and this is a direct impact of the pandemic on the present and future of young people. Extending registrations is a gesture so that candidates can plan the resumption of their projects and dreams for the future, which includes seeking a public university, free and committed to society, with the development of science, education, arts and cultures. The message is very simple and direct: don’t wait for next year! Look for your place at Unicamp for 2022, now, by signing up for the Entrance Exam”, stated José Alves.
Key dates
The first phase of the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam will be held on a single day, November 7, 2021, and the second phase will take place on January 9 and 10, 2022. Before the first phase, there will be Specific Skills tests for candidates for courses in Music (in September and October). For other courses that require specific tests (Architecture and Urban Planning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance), the Specific Skills tests will take place between January 13th and 15th, 2022.
For this year, Comvest decided to maintain the same number of questions from the first phase that had been reduced in the previous edition from 90 to 72 and also the maximum time for them to be completed at four hours. The list of mandatory reading works for the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam features ten works, instead of the traditionally 12 works from previous years.
Comvest reinforces that it will continue to adopt all sanitary measures when taking the tests, to ensure that all protocols required by health authorities are followed.
The first phase will be applied, in the State of São Paulo, in 31 cities: Araçatuba, Barueri, Bauru, Botucatu, Bragança Paulista, Campinas, Franca, Guarulhos, Indaiatuba, Jundiaí, Limeira, Lorena, Marília, Mogi das Cruzes, Mogi Guaçu, Osasco, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santa Bárbara D'Oeste, Santo André, Santos, São Bernardo do Campo, São Carlos, São João da Boa Vista, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Sorocaba, Sumaré and Valinhos.
