A Permanent Committee for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) decided to increase four to five o'clock the time to take the test for the first phase of the Unicamp 2022 Entrance Exam. The test will be administered in the next November 7. The exam start time is maintained at 13 pm. But, with the change, candidates will have until 18 hours to finish the test. This way, candidates will have an extra hour to answer the test's 72 multiple-choice questions. The minimum time spent in the room is maintained at two hours. They are registered in the process 63.298 candidates, which will compete for 2.540 places in 69 undergraduate courses.
According to Comvest, the change will allow candidates to have more time to read the statements and alternatives, prioritizing interpretation and a more careful reading of the issues. For this decision, Comvest considered the improvement in sanitary conditions, in relation to the previous edition of the Entrance Exam, which allows for longer periods of time in the classroom.
