Interweaving performing arts and academic research, Espaço Dançaberta offers its first in-person courses in February.
Founded and directed by professor Júlia Ziviani, from the Unicamp Arts Institute, the new cultural space will bring to the public, throughout the year, a varied program of multilingual courses, shows and artistic actions.
Dançaberta seeks to consolidate itself as an environment for the presentation of the group's repertoire shows and for the development of new productions, in addition to medium and short-term courses and artistic actions that contribute to quality of life and the development of cultural citizenship . The doors are also open for presentations and exhibitions by artists and groups that need a space with infrastructure capable of receiving them.
To start activities in 2022, two courses will be offered.
The first is an intensive course of Body principles for Acrobatic Dance. It will happen in the days February 05 and 06 (Saturday and Sunday), from 9am to 12pm and 14pm to 17pm, with a total workload of 12 hours. The body principles of Acrobatic Dance training developed by Cláudia Millás in research that relates dance techniques, somatic education, circus and vertical practices will be worked on.
The second course is Preparation and creation with somatic objects for scene artists. It will be taught by Júlia Ziviani on the days February 08th, 09th and 10th (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), from 19pm to 22pm, with 9 hours.
