The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) recorded an 82% increase in registrations for the modality Unicamp 2022 Olympic Vacancies, which is one of the possibilities for admission to undergraduate courses. The demand went from 468 candidates in the previous edition to 852 students who had their applications accepted this year. For entry in 2022, 122 places are offered, in 33 course options. Among the most popular courses are Biological Sciences, Civil Engineering, Course 51 (Engineering Physics/Physics/Medical and Biomedical Physics/ Mathematics/Applied and Computational Mathematics) and Food Engineering.
The candidate-vacancy list is available on the Comvest website: www.comvest.unicamp.br. This is the fourth edition of the Olympic Vacancies modality for admission to Unicamp. Students from public and private schools, medalists or excellent performers in high school knowledge competitions accepted in the process, are enrolled.
Another highlight is the percentage of women registered, which increased compared to the previous year, going from 24% to 38,4% (327 candidates) of this year's total registrations.
For the director of Comvest, José Alves de Freitas Neto, every year the demand for this modality has been a positive surprise. “The numbers show that the process is consolidating and that the modality is very well accepted both by students and by the various scientific associations that organize the Olympics. For Unicamp, the result is very positive, as those approved by this modality perform well in the courses”, said José Alves.

How is the classification
In this type of entry, candidates do not need to take tests. For each course, they are called in accordance with the rules of the Notice. For unfilled vacancies, candidates who chose the course as their 2nd option are invited, in descending order.
