Santander, in partnership with the State University of Campinas, opened a notice to encourage entrepreneurial practices. The scholarship is exclusive to undergraduate students at Unicamp and can be offered to participants of the Unicamp Challenge 2022 who register using the business model developed for the competition.
With the aim of stimulating entrepreneurship, the notice will select students enrolled in undergraduate courses at Unicamp who are engaged in entrepreneurial experiences. They must develop a project and present it within eight months of receiving the grant. There will be 18 recipients of the Santander scholarship.
As inscriptions in the Santander notice must be carried out individually. If more than one team member wants to participate in the Santander project, only one of the students will be able to use the competition project. Registration ends on March 31st, which is also the registration deadline for the Unicamp 2022 Challenge.
Organized by the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency, the Unicamp Challenge encourages the development of business models based on University technologies. The Santander notice will be limited to Unicamp students, but the Challenge is open to anyone over 18 years old interested in free training for developing a technology-based business. Prizes for the 2022 edition can reach up to 30 thousand reais.

How to participate in the Challenge?
To participate in the competition you must form a team of three to five people, access the website of the Challenge, choose one of the T available in the portfolio and then register, which must be done by one of the people in the group. Registrations will be open until March 31st, or until they reach the number maximum 100 teams enrolled.
After the first stage of registration, participants will receive an email with the address of a second form, which must be answered by ALL team members. Once completed, the application will be complete and the team will be put in touch with the academic mentor to begin business development.

About the Unicamp 2022 Challenge
In its 12th edition, the competition has already trained more than 3.3 thousand people in business modeling. In 2022, it will encourage diversity and bring new features to its awards. All training activities will be developed in a online. The final of the event may take place in a hybrid format, depending on the sanitary conditions at the time. The competition is the University's main activity to promote entrepreneurship.
The change from competition to format online had a positive impact on increasing the number of participants from different parts of Brazil.
