Premieres this week on 8th São Paulo International Theater Show (MITsp), the show “Before time exists”, a collective creation of indigenous and non-indigenous artists. Prepared from meetings held between 2019 and 2021 with artists and thinkers such as Ailton Krenak, Jaider Eisbell (in memoriam), Denilson Baniwa and Zahy Guajajara, the play is directed by actress and curator Andréia Duarte, from the production company Another Margin, and will feature the Unicamp Performing Arts student, Lilly Baniwa, entering the University's first Indigenous Entrance Exam.
In this edition of Repórter Unicamp, details about the production will be covered, which premieres next Friday (10), at 18 pm, at Teatro Cacilda Becker, in the capital of São Paulo. Both tickets for the premiere and for the two other presentations at MITsp, on June 11th and 12th, at 21pm, are already sold out for online sale, but the Exhibition organization reserves 10% for in-person sale, before of the show. The final rehearsal, this Thursday (9), will be accompanied by a group of indigenous students from Unicamp.
