Editora da Unicamp recently promoted a debate on the 100 years of the rise of fascism, in reference to the “March on Rome” organized by the National Fascist Party on October 28, 1922, which culminated in the arrival of Benito Mussolini to power.
The debate brought together professors Armando Boito Jr. and André Kaysel, from the Department of Political Science of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH), and was part of the program of the exhibition “A Editora da Unicamp em 22”, which aimed to reflect on three highlights from this year based on books published by the house.
In this edition of Repórter Unicamp, we discussed the importance of remembering this event that changed the course of history, and what it can teach about the growth of the extreme right that has been observed in various parts of the world.
The three debates held during the exhibition can be seen in full at Editora da Unicamp channel on Youtube. Furthermore, until June 30th, it is possible to purchase the 20 works in the exhibition catalog with 50% discounts. Just access the website
