The preparation of Unicamp's budget proposal for 2023 is one of the goals of the Dean of University Development (PRDU). In this video, Pro-Rector Fernando Sarti, responsible for PRDU, highlights this and other management activities in University Development throughout 2022, in addition to talking about the challenges expected for 2023.
Sarti highlights that there was a recovery of salary losses and progress in the process of progression of teaching and PAEPE careers.
With the Multi-Year Investment Plan (PPI), the pro-rector highlighted, the budget was separated from Unicamp's financial reserves. "Criteria were created for the use of reserves and we obtained authorization to release R$200 million in works that are absolutely priority for the University", he pointed out.
The recertification processes for units, already started in 2022, should be intensified in 2023, according to Sarti. Other important points for next year are the new round of PAEPE progression, the hiring processes to replace teachers and staff, and the replacement of Sipex with Lattes.
