Actions started in 2022, which open perspectives for 2023, were highlighted by the Vice-Rector of Research, João Romano. Among them, the structuring of the Project Support Office (Grants Office) to prospect new projects, support existing ones, employee training and accountability.
Romano highlighted the need to review the Faepex manual (Teaching, Research and Extension Support Fund) which, for 20 years, has played an important role in research, for the creation of new forms of notices, the increase in multidisciplinarity and the implementation of new lines of support.
He also recalled that Unicamp made great thematic advances with the number of Cepids (Research, Innovation and Diffusion Centers) at Fapesp, in addition to the CPEs (Engineering Research Centers), the Science for Development Centers and the of Applied Research.
