The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) is publishing the list of candidates-vacancy per course in the Enem-Unicamp modality and the balance of registrations. For entry this year, Comvest registered 17.112 Subscribers in this modality. Last year, the search closed at 13.421 candidates, which represents a increase of 27,5%. According to the Commission, one of the factors for the increase in demand was the initiative, adopted for the first time this year, of automatic registration for the modality, at a time when students from public schools – the profile required in Enem-Unicamp – were registration for the Unicamp Entrance Exam, in August. In season, 12.564 students have chosen to also carry out automatic registration in the Enem-Unicamp modality. By registering in both processes, students can increase their chances of joining Unicamp.
In addition to these candidates, Comvest registered other 4.548 new subscribers, who registered directly in the Enem-Unicamp modality, in November. For the director of Comvest, José Alves de Freitas Neto, this number denotes the interest especially of candidates from more distant locations. “Maintaining the Enem-Unicamp modality is an important initiative by Unicamp to allow candidates from other regions, from cities further away from our traditional places where the Unicamp Entrance Exam exams are administered, to participate in the vacancies offered. This number of more than 4 thousand candidates who had not automatically registered on the Entrance Exam form indicates such importance”, said José Alves.
In the 2023 edition, the modality offers 639 vacancies, intended for two profiles of students: 50% of vacancies for candidates who have completed high school in a public school and 50% of vacancies for candidates who have completed high school in a public school and are self-declared black, mixed race or indigenous.
“We are very pleased with this increase in demand compared to last year, as it represents a return to a level prior to the pandemic. This is because in the two editions of the Enem-Unicamp modality held before the pandemic, in 2019 and 2020, we had reached more than 17 thousand people, that is, we managed to regain the same rate”, explained José Alves.
In the Enem-Unicamp modality, the tests are the responsibility of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep), linked to the Ministry of Education, which carries out the Enem (National High School Exam). Candidates were able to use theEnem 2022 edition notes.
The lists of those approved for enrollment will be published on the modality page on the Comvest website from February 6th. They are planned to five calls for enrollment online e The dates of these calls are shown in the calendar available on the Comvest website.
