authorship

Researchers from the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) at Unicamp recruit patients with moderate to severe psoriasis to volunteer in research at the University's Hospital de Clínicas. The objective of the study is to evaluate cardiovascular risks in patients with psoriasis, in order to promote a better quality of life for patients and prevent possible early death from this type of disease.

The study, approved by the Research Ethics Committee (CEP) under opinion 2.203.081, will hold monthly meetings with volunteers and perform blood collection as the only invasive procedure.

Recruitment will take place throughout the month of March, with people aged 18 to 60 already diagnosed with psoriasis being able to participate in the study.

Those interested in participating in the research should send an email to researcher Tiago Costa, at the address voluntariopsoriase@gmail.com
