The Simple and Inclusive Language Working Group, created by Ordinance CGU 1/2023, and chaired by Educorp instructor Thiago Pinheiro Rosa, was created to map document models already used in the various units and bodies of Unicamp. It also aims to promote analysis and review, with the purpose of recommending standardization and simplification for the production of administrative and communication acts, as well as updating and optimizing communication within the University. In the first stage, excellent feedback was obtained from units and bodies, highlighting the importance of the topic.
Diagnosis
To carry out, in a participatory manner, the diagnostic stage of the work, an electronic form was sent to the units and bodies of Unicamp with basic and objective questions in order to diagnose the main characteristics (species, form, content, among others) of the administrative acts prepared, in addition to verifying knowledge/comprehensiveness of the Simple Language topic.
The intention was to understand how the set of practices is created that aims to make texts easier to read/understand, within the scope of internal institutional communication.
In total, 85 responses were obtained, corresponding to 77,27% of the target audience, with the participation of all Teaching and Research units, all central Administration bodies, as well as health bodies, commissions, centers and cores.
The data obtained will be used, by the GT, as a reference for carrying out Steps 2 (Analysis, discussion and review of models/practices adopted) and 3 (Updating and elaboration of manuals referring to recommendations for writing and preparing administrative acts) of the GT.
topic of interest
The topic is one of the most sought after at Educorp for training and updates. The various specific initiatives become known by the group of units and bodies. Edison Lins also sees the group "as important preparation for the administrative language standards that will soon come into force by law. Unicamp, with the GT, does its part, in an integrated and anticipated manner"
