Study seeks volunteers to answer questionnaires about sleep patterns

authorship

Study approved by the Unicamp Ethics Committee and supported by Fapesp invites volunteers to answer questionnaires about sleep patterns, to evaluate the quality of sleep and the chronotype of the participants.

The objective of the research is to investigate the preference that each person has for sleeping and waking times and social jetlag, that is, the difference in sleep schedules and time on work days compared to free days, and how this affects quality of food for undergraduate students at night. The idea is to observe whether these factors are associated with quality of life and the development of diseases, in addition to affecting sleep.

The course completion research is being conducted by Giovanna Antonella, student of the Nutrition course, under the guidance of professor Andrea Maculano Esteves, linked to the Sleep and Physical Exercise Laboratory (Lasef), located on the Limeira campus (FCA), and with -supervision of Natália Vilela Silva Daniel, doctoral student.
