The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) will extend registrations for the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam, which will now run until 17pm on September 6th. Registration must be made online, using the form available on the website of the Comvest. Of the 3.340 regular places for admission to the University, the 2024 Entrance Exam offers 2.540 places, distributed across 69 course options. The registration fee is the same as the previous year: R$ 192,00 and can be paid until September 8th. It is possible to take up to two course options, as long as they are in the same area. The 2024 Entry Manual is now available for consultation on the Comvest website, with information on the registration process, tests and other steps. One of the new features of this edition is that Comvest will finalize the application of all tests in December of this year, making it possible for the names of those approved to be announced in January 2024.
The first phase of the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam will be held on October 29, 2023, and the second phase will take place on December 3 and 4, 2023. Before the first phase, there will be Specific Skills tests for candidates for Music courses (with sending videos online, between September 18th and 29th). For other courses that require specific tests (Architecture and Urban Planning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance), the Specific Skills tests will take place in December, between the 7th and 9th of December. Updates
Other new features are the inclusion of the city of Americana as the place where the test will be administered (in place of Santa Bárbara D'Oeste) and the change in the distribution of questions from different subjects both in the first phase and in the second phase of the Entrance Exam.
In the first phase, for the first time, the six questions of Sociology and Philosophy, three from each discipline. The number of questions in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, History, Geography and English will be reduced from eight to seven for each of these subjects. The number of Portuguese Language/Literature and Mathematics questions will not change, remaining 12 for each subject.
In the second phase, there will be changes to the questions on the second day of the tests: candidates for courses in the Humanities/Arts and Biological/Health careers will take a smaller number of Mathematics questions, which goes from six to four. There will be the inclusion of two Philosophy/Sociology questions for the Humanities and more two biology questions for the Biological area. There will be no changes to the first day of the second phase tests.
The total number of questions in both the first and second phases will not change, maintaining 72 multiple-choice questions in the first phase and a total of 30 essay questions and one Essay in the second phase.
Enem-Unicamp automatic registration
Comvest offers the possibility of early registration for candidates from public schools, in the Enem-Unicamp modality. The measure was adopted for the first time in the last edition of the Unicamp Vestibular. In this way, when registering for the 2024 Entrance Examination, candidates from public schools who opted for the Affirmative Action Program for Social Inclusion – Paais (high school option) and/or ethnic-racial quotas will already be automatically and free of charge enrolled in the Enem modality. Unicamp 2024, with no new registration required in November.
Cities
The first phase will be applied, in the State of São Paulo, in 31 cities: Americana, Araçatuba, Barueri, Bauru, Botucatu, Bragança Paulista, Campinas, Franca, Guarulhos, Indaiatuba, Jundiaí, Limeira, Lorena, Marília, Mogi das Cruzes, Mogi Guaçu, Osasco, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santo André, Santos , São Bernardo do Campo, São Carlos, São João da Boa Vista, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Sorocaba, Sumaré and Valinhos.
Outside the State of São Paulo, five capitals receive the Unicamp Entrance Exam tests: Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza and Salvador.
fee exemption
This year, 9.888 students benefited from exemption from registration fee, which will be valid for both the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam and the Enem-Unicamp 2024 modality. Successful candidates must access a specific form and use the exemption code to register without generating a payment slip.
Vestibular application and Cria Unicamp
Comvest offers a free application from which students can receive alerts about important Entrance Exam dates, in addition to having quick access to the most relevant information. The Unicamp Vestibular application can be downloaded for free.
The Commission will carry out three more editions of the Cria Unicamp project, launched in April this year, with the aim of contribute to the preparation of high school students for the Entrance Exam. Two events are scheduled for September and the last one for October 7th. The events are free and held on Saturdays at Comvest headquarters, Campinas campus.
