We are witnessing the deaths of thousands of civilians, men, women and children, under unrestrained attack by military forces, within the scope of a conflict that demands the attention of the international community and the governments involved in order to resolve it fairly.
The State University of Campinas reaffirms the non-negotiable defense of human rights and the well-being of populations. The principles that govern our academic community, the repudiation of violence and the defense of people's dignity and their fundamental rights are the bases on which Unicamp publicly defends the end of the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
For an immediate ceasefire in the name of humanitarian reason!
