Unicamp publishes list of those approved for the second phase of the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam

The Permanent Commission for Unicamp Entrance Exams (Comvest) anticipated the publication of the list of candidates approved in the first phase of the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam. The list is available on Comvest website. In total, 13.447 candidates were called for the second phase. The test locations can be consulted individually by candidates, on the Unicamp 2024 Vestibular page.

Comvest also made available the cut-off scores per course and the table with the candidate-vacancy relationship for the second phase. The grades obtained individually by candidates in the first phase will be available for consultation from tomorrow, Friday (17/11). This year, 60.241 candidates took the first phase test, held on October 29th. When entering the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam, 2.537 places are offered in 69 undergraduate courses at Unicamp.

Second stage

The second phase will be held on December 3 and 4, 2023, lasting five hours each day. The minimum length of stay is two hours. The second phase consists of tests with essay questions. The tests have a common part for all candidates and a diverse part, according to the area of ​​knowledge of the course chosen in the 1st option (Biological Sciences/Health; Exact/Technological Sciences, Human Sciences/Arts). Each essay question contains two items, worth two points each, totaling four points. The tests follow the following distribution:

First day – tests common to all candidates:

Writing Test (consisting of two text proposals for the candidate to choose and execute only one proposal);

Portuguese Language and Portuguese Language Literature Test, with six questions;

Interdisciplinary test with two English questions and two interdisciplinary Natural Sciences questions.

Second day – tests common to all candidates:

Mathematics Test: with six questions for courses in the Exact Sciences/Technology areas; four questions for courses in the areas of Biological Sciences/Health and four questions for courses in the areas of Human Sciences/Arts.

Interdisciplinary Test: with two interdisciplinary questions from Human Sciences.

Second day – tests of specific knowledge, depending on the course option:

a) Candidates in the area of ​​Biological Sciences/Health: Biology test with eight questions; Chemistry test, with six questions.

b) Candidates in the Exact/Technological Sciences area: Physics test, with six questions; Chemistry test, with six questions.

c) Candidates in the Human Sciences/Arts area: Geography test, with six questions; History test, with six questions; Philosophy test, with one question; Sociology test, with one question.

The Specific Skills Tests for the Architecture and Urban Planning, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Dance courses will be held between the 7th and 9th of December, only in Campinas. The first call will be released on January 29th. Those invited must register online (not in person) on January 30th and 31st, via the Comvest website. The other dates are included in the Unicamp 2024 Entrance Exam calendar, available on the Commission's website.
