Indigenous Entrance Exam
Comvest has extended registration for the 2024 Indigenous Entrance Exam, which now runs until December 4th (until 17pm). The aim is to allow interested parties to use the weekend to register. The Indigenous Entrance Exam is aimed at indigenous students who attended public schools. Registration, free of charge, must be made on the Comvest page. Unicamp offers 130 places and the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) offers 65 places. Candidates for the 2024 Indigenous Entrance Exam must prove that they belong to one of the indigenous ethnicities of Brazilian territory, through the documentation specified in the notice, to be delivered on the day of the test. What's new this year is that the exam will be administered in two new cities: Santarém, in Pará, and Campo Grande, in Mato Grosso do Sul.
The selection process for the Indigenous Entrance Exam has occurred in a unified manner, involving Unicamp and UFSCar, since the 2022 edition, with the aim of allowing indigenous students to enter both universities. Candidates must submit a single application, indicating up to two courses, one at each university. Notices with the rules and vacancies per course are available on the websites of both institutions, as well as the complete process calendar. At UFSCar, this is the 17th edition of the admission modality for indigenous students and at Unicamp, the sixth.
Olympic vacancies
Free registration for the Unicamp 2024 Olympic Vacancies process, one of the possibilities for admission to the University, can be made at https://www.comvest.unicamp.br/ingresso-2024/vagas-olimpicas-2024/, until the next day January 10, 2024. 129 places are offered, in 35 course options. For this edition, four new competitions were included: Youth Games, Brazilian Economics Olympiad, Unicamp Mathematics Olympiad and the international competition European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics. Students from public and private schools who are medalists or who have had excellent performance in high school knowledge competitions listed in the process notice and on the Comvest website can register.
Candidates can enroll in up to two courses (first and second option). The modalities and respective scores required by the courses, in each competition, can be found on the Comvest page. Winners in Olympics or other knowledge competitions held in the two years prior to the start of the Unicamp undergraduate course, that is, in the years 2022 and 2023, will be able to register.
Second phase test locations
Comvest emphasizes that candidates should pay attention to the test locations, as they will not necessarily be the same as those in the first phase. In addition to the test locations themselves, the cities also changed in the cases indicated in the table below:
