A The release through a provisional measure by the federal government of the harvest and subsequent commercialization of the illegally planted transgenic soybean crop, in addition to revealing the divergences between market and research sectors, caused apprehension in academic circles. The emptying of the CNTBio, the technical commission created to try to regulate the matter, and the lack of more in-depth studies, are two of the main problems highlighted by researchers, including those who defend the culture of transgenics.
