Pinto de Moura
I congratulate reporter Clayton Levy for his report on Dr. Roberto Pinto de Moura, with whom I had the honor of learning my first lessons about psychoanalysis and Freud [“Um intellectual do divan”, edition 354]. He was a really great teacher and is an extremely friendly and pleasant person. It will be a pleasure for me to read your current works and your many stories. Sincerely, Maria Cristina de O. Shampoos-1
Why are the bodies that should monitor this type of distortion not doing so? Why are we so deceived or let ourselves be deceived, as shown in the report “Smooth, soft and shiny hair? Be suspicious” [edition 353]. I think this is already part of our culture. There are many things that they promise us and don't deliver on, straight hair or not. The interesting thing is that, even though there is serious research like this one carried out at Unicamp, we continue to be promised straight, silky, shiny hair and who knows what else. Why isn't this research published openly so we can pay fair prices? We need to know what these products can really offer us. Nilma MNVarjão da Fonseca, librarian at InCor HC/FMUSP
Shampoos-2
I found the article about shampoos very interesting. We always believe that shampoos that don't foam are no good. I always opted for the cheapest ones and today I see that I didn't make a mistake. I would like to know more about these studies. It is important that consumers are made aware of these 'miracles' that are never fulfilled. Congratulations, professor Inés Joekes. Renata Queiroz
Work accidents – 1
Excellent article about Professor Thomas Patrick Dwyer’s book [“A new view on workplace accidents”, edition 353]. I work for a multinational that is very concerned about incidents. They are counted, investigated, planned and monitored. I have some difficulty defining a “system” as a “work factor” rather than a “personal factor”. We define the management of systems (which cause incidents) as the result of direct action by people, which is why the percentage of “personal factor” in our analyzes remains high (80% of cases). Work accidents - 2
Excellent article on workplace accidents. I will definitely purchase a copy of the book Life and Death at Work, by Professor Thomas Dwyer. Jair Frascareli
JOBS
The report on employment [“The new world of work. Work in the new world”, edition 354] demystifies capitalist logic. Capital will take humanity to rock bottom much sooner than we imagined. Gerson Matos
