City halls across the state
discuss at Unicamp
the law for public spending

Aaspects linked to the Fiscal Responsibility Law, a set of rules that exert strong control over public spending, will be debated by municipal authorities from across the State of São Paulo and experts from Unicamp in a meeting scheduled for the 30th and 31st of August, at the Center of University Conventions. The event, organized by the Dean of Extension and Community Affairs and the Unicamp Development Foundation (Funcamp), inaugurates a new form of relationship with city halls, expanding the concept of social application of academic production. "We want, from this and future meetings, to hear what the mayors have to say, offer solutions and address the issues presented to us", says the Pro-Rector of Extension, Professor Rubens Maciel Filho.
