Eighteen years after its installation on campus, Unicamp's Hospital das Clínicas is preparing to pursue its true vocation: to provide specialized care to the population. The project to readjust the functions of the HC, which follows guidance from the Ministry of Health and includes an agreement with the state, municipal and regional health authorities, provides for the reorganization of care in the emergency room and outpatient clinics, reserving care tasks for the hospital tertiary and quaternary, in addition to those related to teaching, research and medical residency.
