IEL Magazine rescues Oliveira Lima
The historian Oliveira Lima (1867-1928) is only now gaining recognition. A diplomat who criticized the diplomatic corps, accused of being monarchist by the Republicans, refused to be buried in Brazil and donated his library to the Americans. He is a character in the magazine Shot of the Evils, from the Institute of Language Studies at Unicamp.
