Marília de Andrade
I love dance as a force that burns our soul and makes us want to create, to fly. I was also a dance teacher and dancer, and I have also retired. One fine day, I told my husband that I was going to attend Unicamp and continue dancing. I passed the first phase, but I gave up on leaving my family. The following year I took the UFBA, I passed, and in the interview I made it very clear that I only wanted dance, as my objective was research. I know I'm not old enough to be a professional dancer, but I have a lot of experience to add to my knowledge. As the university was requesting dancers, I was left out. The Unicamp course enchants me because it involves research. Really, Marília, dancing is a very good addiction.

Devotion to art
Excellent article with professor Beatriz Coelho (“Devotion to art”, edition 318). Also the work of the art gallery aimed at connecting the public and the Unicamp collection.

About RMC
Regarding the work of professor Ulysses Semeghini (“A reflection on the obstacles of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas”, edition 343), I highlight two subjects of great importance: the Velos Train (bullet) between Campinas, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and the Campinas subway. The Fast Train is already in its fourth project, taking advantage of the existing line or the junction of the Bandeirantes highway (Campinas-São Paulo). Currently, there is a project by a German company with the Ministry of Transport, with approval from the Senate, with non-repayable funds from a German bank. This company has 160 technicians spread across the world designing a mega railway project estimated at US$60 billion.
The Campinas Metro, in my opinion, should take advantage of the Bandeirantes route, compromised in part by fiber optic installations, gas pipes and a fourth lane of the highway.

São Paulo wine
Visiting the Unicamp website I found a topic that is of great interest to our sector (“São Paulo wine seeks its space”, edition 344). It's a shame that the wine meeting at Unicamp had already ended. I hope that in future meetings we can be invited to provide our collaboration and contribute with our 40 years of experience in this activity. The Jundiaí Wine Industry Union, together with the São Roque Wine Industry Union, and Fiesp, are working to revitalize this important agricultural sector in the State of São Paulo.
