Fellowship – The Institute of Economics (IE) will have registrations open until July 10th for the specialization course in economic diplomacy - extension modality. The purpose of the course is to qualify participants from the public and private sector to monitor and influence a broad and complex agenda of international negotiations underway in the various multilateral, plurilateral, regional and bilateral forums. Humanities – Registration is now open for the 2nd Unicamp Human Sciences Research Meeting, which will take place from September 29th to October 3rd, at the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences (IFCH). The Meeting aims to bring together the areas of Humanities (Social Sciences, History, Philosophy, Literature, Linguistics, Performing Arts, Dance, Fine Arts, Music, Economics, Pedagogy, Geography, Architecture & Urbanism and the like) so that researchers can discuss their work with other related projects. It is an initiative by students for students. Scientific initiation research, monographs, master's dissertations and doctoral theses that are beginning, in progress or nearing completion can be registered. Food Science – Registration for the 5th Latin American Symposium on Food Science (5th SLACA) is now open. The symposium will take place from November 3rd to 6th at the Faculty of Food Engineering (FEA). The event will provide an exhibition of the newest market trends, round tables and lectures by renowned experts from the most diverse areas of food research and production. Solidarity – Undergraduate and postgraduate chemistry students are mobilizing together to collect warm clothes and food for needy families at Hospital das Clínicas. Culture Islam – The IFCH Library holds an Exhibition of the Culture of Islam, until the 30th (Monday), from 9 am to 21:30 pm. Art and humanization – The executive board of the Center for Comprehensive Care for Women's Health (Caism) promotes the exhibition of the “Art and humanization” Collection (second module) until the 30th (Monday). The event brings together watercolor works by contemporary artists, whose material will be part of the permanent Gallery in the hospital's entrance hall. Information: telephone 3788-9300.

Marx and Engels – Registration of works for the “3rd Marx and Engels Colloquium: Marxism and Socialism in the 21st century”, which will take place from November 3rd to 7th. The deadline for submitting communications is the 30th (Monday). The promotion is from the Center for Marxist Studies (Cemarx), from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences. This time, topics such as: the conditions and the struggle for the reorganization of the international socialist movement will be addressed. Round tables and coordinated communications sessions are part of the program. The researcher must send a summary of their communication to Cemarx. PUC Award – Registration for the 13rd Mostra PUC Prize is open until July 3th. The objective is to encourage university students to use knowledge as a way of building actions capable of influencing society. Students on undergraduate or postgraduate courses regularly enrolled in 12 in any Brazilian higher education establishment can compete for the four prizes of R$2003, with the work being carried out, obligatorily, as a team. Students can submit their projects within the four categories: Social Science; Theology and C.Humanities; Scientific Technician; and Biomedical. Information:
