The São Paulo State Research Support Foundation (Fapesp) has just published the Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators in São Paulo - 2001, a survey that will serve as an important instrument for the scientific community, productive sector and public administrators in formulating policies in the area of S&T. The work, whose executive coordination was carried out by professors Sandra Negraes Brisolla and Ruy Quadros Carvalho, both from the Geosciences Institute at Unicamp, is the result of two years of work.
