Debrun's keeps and other memories
Memory is the subject of five reports in this edition of Jornal da Unicamp. The Historical Archive of the Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science (CLE) has just made part of the 27 personal documents of the philosopher and professor emeritus at Unicamp Michel Debrun (1921-1997) available to the public. JU publishes the French intellectual's last interview (larger photo), given to Eustáquio Gomes, and excerpts from an essay on Brazilian national identity. The Edgard Leuenroth Archive will soon be enriched with the incorporation of the personal archive of journalist Aloysio Biondi, which has just been donated by the family. Unicamp Editora, in turn, launches the book Influenza, sick medicine, written by professor Liane Bertucci, a work that shows the impact of the Spanish flu in São Paulo in 1918. The thesis by photographer Patrícia Rodolpho reveals the transformations that occurred over the last century in the central region of Campinas. Works of art from the Vatican collection will begin to be made available online through the Unicamp Digital Library.
